X Factor reaches Indore for its auditions. Nimisha Deb, 16 years old Student from Jabalpur, performs "Teri neeyat kharab hai" by Sunidhi Chauhan. Sonu Nigam feels she is the one who could get closest to Sunidhi Chauhan in terms of tone. Shreya Ghoshal calls her a fabulous singer and is desperate to take her in her team. She gets hugs from all the judges and celebrates her victory with her mother. Mona Shewde, 36 years old Housewife has come to fulfill her daughter's dream to be a singer. She dedicates her performed song "Aur kya ahde wafa hote hain" by Asha Bhonsle to her lovely daughter Mahima. The judges find her singing promising and look forward to see her in the next rounds of X Factor. Mona gets a Yes by all the judges. Pankaj Mulchandani, 24 years old, Process Manager by Profession, sings "Chahe koi mujhe junglee kahe" by Mohd. Rafi and performs crazily like Shammi Kapoor. Even though his singing skills do not match up to the expectations, Judges enjoy his performance and his lively nature. Deewana Group performs "Piya haji Ali" by Kadar Ghulam Mustafa, Murtaza Ghulam Mustafa and A.R.Rahman. The Judges find the group determined and talented and give them a Yes for the next round of X Factor. Now the search for X factor reaches Ahmedabad and as per the expectations, the city welcomes X factor in full spirits. Sajda Group performs "Dola re dola" by Shreya Ghoshal. Sonu Nigam loves the performance and praises the group for its efficiency of dividing the song. Sanjay Leela Bhansali finds the group's singing rendering and synchronized. The versatility of the group is selected and moves on towards the next round. Amit Gupta, a scientist engineer by profession and partially blind with immense support of his family and cute little son tries his luck. Pretty unfortunate for him that he couldn't make it further. Then at last comes Kalpesh, who claims to have been inspired from Sonu Nigam, but astounds everyone by his Gujarati rap. After Indore, Kolkata awaits X Factor.
